[Dime Time Rewind] Dime’s Adventures in KY x Cincy x Nashville X NYC [PHOTOS]
Hey loves! I’m back from a full week of travel and adventure and starting today, I want to share that with you! I’ve added a new blog posting entitled ‘Dime Time Rewind” where I will rewind and give you a recap of my past travels and gigs. Just want to give you an inside look of what goes on inside the life and times of me, DJ Dimepiece! So buckle your seat belts and get ready for the ride!
Special thanks to Kodak of Indy for shooting me the awesome idea! I’m always blogging and updating whether it’s my website, facebook, twitter or myspace, but never behind the scenes of what goes on day to day while i’m out doing what I do. So why not blog about what I do, which is DJing and on the road to becoming a successful DJ within the industry.
Inside this weeks’ “Dime Time Rewind”, I had the pleasure of spinning in three different cities during Halloween weekend. Of course the question dawned on me, if I should actually wear the same Halloween Costume at each party being that they were in different cities. That’s pretty much what all my guy friends told me. Then I thought, thats like me wearing the same dress to three different DJ Gigs just because I’m in a different city…lol!
With that being said, I went with three different costumes! Friday night I jetted to Lexington, KY to rock out at the pre-Halloween Bash hosted by G-Mack, Saturday I was in my hometown Cincinnati spinning at Club Aqua, then Sunday I headed to the Dirty Dirty to spin in my second home, Nashville, TN. Check the costumes that I rocked out in each city:

Just in case you didn’t know, I LOVE to travel! When I’m able to do both DJing and traveling, thats just the icing on the cake! I had blast spinning throughout the Mid-South this past weekend and can’t wait to hope in the Dimepiece Barbie Jeep to do it all over again!
The adventures are just beginning! I switched modes of transportation and packed my bags where I was New York bound! Why you ask? I was blessed with an opportunity to be apart of a historic event! I was going to be apart of Dr. Jay’s “Salute The DJ” Winter Campaign. This was my first ever photo shoot for a major brand, and this is only the beginning!
I was amongst some of New York’s and Hip Hop’s best DJs! Special thanks to Los and Simone Boss Lady for the opportunity! It was an honor to be a part of something so epic and monumental! Talk about being around the likes of DJ Jazzy Joyce, DJ Prostyle and DJ D-Nice? It was a dream come true and revelation that hard work does pay off.

My view from the plane..Headed to NYC!
In Brooklyn…They have the best ‘Mom & Pop’ food spots! I have much love for Brooklyn!
My weakness..”The Fashion District” in NYC…Loved it!
While in the Fashion District, I had a chance to visit my good friends at Lux-Irie by LRG!
A view from one of my train rides! This particular one, I was lost heading to Manhattan but ended up on Nu Lotts in Brooklyn…LOL
While on the go in NYC, the best and reasonable transportation is the Train, and you have to have these on the comfy if you plan on doing tons of walking! Shout out to Dr. Jay’z for the FMS Grey Kicks! They were so needed being that I only packed heels!
I had a chance to check out the Nike event in NYC at the Sneaker spot, West. DJ D-Nice was spinning, and I also ran into the legend DJ Teddy Tedd!
Didn’t get to attend, but it was pretty dope to catch where it all goes down…Late Night with David Letterman
I was feeling like Drake when I took this photo! Not sure if you caught him in hte “SO Kodak” commercial where he is standing in front of Radio City. If you didn’t, this is it…
We’ll thats it guys and gals! Hope you enjoyed my mini scrapbook of my week’s/Weekend’s travel and DJ experience. I plan to take you all with me each time inside the “Dime Time Rewind”
Until the next time…
