Real Rahm Emanuel Offers Reward for Fake Twitter Account MayorEmanuel Identity

Chicago – Rahm Emanuel is offering a reward for the person running a funny but profane Twitter account@MayorEmanuel (Warning: profanity) if they reveal their identity.

The twitter account had over 28,000 followers as of Thursday morning, which is about four times the 7,600 followers Emanuel has.

The parody Twitter account has gained a reputation for its profanity and creative take on Emanuel’s campaign for mayor.

Emanuel told Roe Conn Wednesday that he will donate $2,500 to $5,000 to a local charity in the name of the tweeter if he or she comes forward.

When asked by Conn if he followed the account, Emanuel laughed and admitted it was funny.
