Hey loves!  Thanks for the patience, but the wait and suspense is OVER!  I’m finally revealing the anticipated announcement on my official site, www.djdimepiece.com.

Words From DJ Dimepiece “The Mixin’ Vixen”

First, I would like to thank the entire city of Cincinnati and the Northern Kentucky Region for embracing and supporting me thus far.  Cincinnati will always hold special place in my heart!

101.1 The Wiz was the 1st Radio position I held right after graduating college.  I was green, hungry and grateful to obtain a job in my field so soon after leaving college.  I want to thank Terri Thomas for believing in me and giving me a chance in radio in a medium marlet.  That was a big deal for me coming from Nashville, TN.  Since then, I have never looked back and put Cincinnati and the state of Ohio on my back.  From Clubs, to hosting several Artists and DJ Conferences annually, to creating the movement  and Mixtape series “I’m So Cincinnati ™ “, to breaking new music daily on “Dime Time Radio”, my heart will always be with Cincinnati.

I’ve been through alot since my time here, which not only made me stronger…but it made me realize that God has more planned for me.

I remember my mother encouraging me to move out here to make a name for myself because she knew how much I loved radio and DJing.  At that time, I just wanted to go back home and live it up in California with her and family.  She obviously knew what God had in store for me.  Like the saying goes…”Mother knows best…”

Just a few years later, I lost both my mother and father in the same year and since then, I have been carrying on their legacy and doing whatever it takes to succeed and make them proud.

Its now time to take that step in their name and know that God will continue to bring me through as he has thus far.

Thank you again, and I love you all!

A Mellow Mushroom will open January 18th, located on 1014 Drive in Wilder. The Atlanta-based pizza chain, popular throughout the Southeast, is a pizza pub that focuses on dining in rather than delivery or takeout.

It’s both family-friendly and beer-oriented. It will have 30 beers on tap, including local labels and craft brews. Pizzas like the Kosmic Karma reflect its counter-cultural roots.

In addition to pizza and beer, its menu includes calzones, hoagies, appetizers and salads.  Many people are familiar with Mellow Mushroom from visiting it on vacation in Florida or South Carolina, or from the 30-40 locations in the Atlanta area.

Woman Charged With Raping 6-Year-Old Child

A woman is charged after being accused of raping a six-year-old child. Police say that Kenya Gilliam, 26, had inappropriate sexual contact with that child in 2005.

Gilliam faces one count of rape and is being held with a fifty-thousand-dollar bond. She is also not allowed to have any further contact with the victim.

She will be in court on January 25.

Cincinnati Police Are Asking For Help Finding Missing 15 Year Old

Cincinnati Police are asking for help finding a missing 15-year-old girl.

Rhyan Simone Lewis was seen Saturday walking around downtown Cincinnati.  She is a black female, five-feet one, weighing 110 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a pink bandana, black leather coat, blue jeans, and purple snow boots.

Anyone with information on Ms. Lewis is asked to call Crimestoppersat 352-3040 or the Cincinnati Police Criminal Investigations Section at 352-3542.

Breaking News: Marvin Lewis Will Remain Bengals Coach

Marvin Lewis has agreed to stay with the Bengals. Read more on the live coverage of the story.

Details of his new contract have yet to be announced, but a press conference is scheduled for 4:30pm. We will be streaming it LIVE on FOX19.com.

Earlier Tuesday, ESPN reported that Lewis’ contract may be up the air due to not being able to agree with team ownership on the direction of the franchise. However, these issues have obviously been agreed upon.

This will be Coach Lewis’ ninth year as Bengals Head Coach.

On Tuesday morning, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter says a team source told him Lewis will sign a new contract.

However, Schefter reported Tuesday afternoon that Lewis left Paul Brown Stadium without a new deal and his future with the organization is in “serious jeopardy.”

There has been no official word from the Bengals.

Lewis met Monday morning with team president Mike Brown, but neither would discuss the meeting. Brown said through a team spokesman that a resolution could come as soon as Tuesday.

Lewis wants changes in how the organization operates, including more control over roster decisions. He also has lobbied years for a covered practice field – the Bengals are the only northern NFL team without one. Lewis turned down an extension last season, saying their differences had to be resolved before he would agree to stay.

The Bengals are coming off of a disappointing 4-12 season that ended with a loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Several Bengals players have said they want Lewis to stay.

“The only coach I want to play for is Marvin Lewis,” said linebacker Rey Maualuga. “Coach Lewis and his staff gave me an opportunity when no one else in the NFL did.”

Schefter reported Monday that the San Francisco 49ers wanted to talk to Lewis, but the 49ers have reported requested permission from the Raiders to talk to offensive coordinator Hue Jackson.
