Hey loves!  Thanks for the patience, but the wait and suspense is OVER!  I’m finally revealing the anticipated announcement on my official site, www.djdimepiece.com.

Words From DJ Dimepiece “The Mixin’ Vixen”

First, I would like to thank the entire city of Cincinnati and the Northern Kentucky Region for embracing and supporting me thus far.  Cincinnati will always hold special place in my heart!

101.1 The Wiz was the 1st Radio position I held right after graduating college.  I was green, hungry and grateful to obtain a job in my field so soon after leaving college.  I want to thank Terri Thomas for believing in me and giving me a chance in radio in a medium marlet.  That was a big deal for me coming from Nashville, TN.  Since then, I have never looked back and put Cincinnati and the state of Ohio on my back.  From Clubs, to hosting several Artists and DJ Conferences annually, to creating the movement  and Mixtape series “I’m So Cincinnati ™ “, to breaking new music daily on “Dime Time Radio”, my heart will always be with Cincinnati.

I’ve been through alot since my time here, which not only made me stronger…but it made me realize that God has more planned for me.

I remember my mother encouraging me to move out here to make a name for myself because she knew how much I loved radio and DJing.  At that time, I just wanted to go back home and live it up in California with her and family.  She obviously knew what God had in store for me.  Like the saying goes…”Mother knows best…”

Just a few years later, I lost both my mother and father in the same year and since then, I have been carrying on their legacy and doing whatever it takes to succeed and make them proud.

Its now time to take that step in their name and know that God will continue to bring me through as he has thus far.

Thank you again, and I love you all!

[Dime Time TV] Ohio Homeless Man Hopes Of Returning To Radio [VIDEO]

A good friend of mine, DJ Cocoa Chanelle sent this story to me of a homeless guy with a golden voice, perfect for radio.  Not only did it touch me, but it literally hits home because he is from Columbus , Ohio which is just miles away from Cincinnati. Check out his story.

This video touched my heart. Its a Homeless man from Columbus Ohio by the name of Ted Williams who is a EX Radio announcer that fell on hard times due to drug & alcohol use. Don’t let his looks fool you. He has a AMAZING voice. Not only is his voice AMAZING, he has a amazing spirit and a presence that makes you wanna root for him.

I been in radio for 14 years and i can co-sign that this mans amazing voice would be a GREAT asset to any Radio or TV station. I’m hoping that one of my colleagues in the broadcast field or anyone who is in a position of power can offer this man some type of work and help give him a second chance at life.

Ted holds up a small cardboard sign that tells bypassers of his “God Given Gift of Voice,” which he graciously offers to those willing to extend some help. The sign reads

“I have a God given gift of voice, I’m an ex-radio announcer who has fallen on hard times. PLEASE! any help will be greatfully appreciated. Thank you and God bless you. Happy Holidays.”

Any one of us could fall on hard times at any given moment, especially with this recession happening now. This man has 2 years clean and is trying to do the right thing. forward this to any one who you think would be interested in helping. let’s show the power of the internet and PAY IT FORWARD
