Whatever happened to Vanilla Ice? The ’90s pop icon is trading in his mic for a hammer in “The Vanilla Ice Project,” a new series that follows the star and his crew as they overhaul a 7,000-square-foot mansion in Palm Beach — and we’ve got your look!

“This thing’s turned out to be a little bit of a nightmare,” Vanilla (a.k.a. Robert Van Winkle) says about his daunting task, but adds with a burst of confidence: “This house is going to come out amazing, trust me.”

Who knew Vanilla had fifteen years of home-improvement experience under his tool belt? Along the way, he climbs roofs, jumps fences and almost topples a tractor in the series, premiering on the DIY network October 14.

But don’t worry, die hard “Ice” fans — he hasn’t given up the trade that made him oh-so cool.

“I still am Vanilla Ice — but when I’m not touring around the world, I’m here in Palm Beach, making money in real estate — I flip houses.” Watch the video for more!
